Athletics
The St. Matthew Parish Athletic Association (SMPAA) enhances athletics by providing parish-based teams and extra-curricular events and teaching the fundamentals of sports. The programs will strive to develop self worth, good sportsmanship, discipline, sound judgment, and physical well being. The association provides many athletic and sport related events for all members of the Parish. All Parish youth actively participating in St. Matthew School or Religious Education programs are eligible to participate.
The SMPAA has a general meeting during the months of March, July, and November, in preparation for each sporting season. These meetings are open to any family that participates in St. Matthew’s athletics. Special meetings may be held to address other needs as they arise. Your ideas and input are welcome. Contact any one of us for more information about St. Matthew athletics and how you can make it better.
The following sporting activities are available to all St. Matthew students or parish members: Basketball, Cross Country, Soccer and Volleyball.
